Work: fashion reports, editorials, catalogs, advertising.
When I was working for Vogue Italia, there were no computer and no software for layout and graphic composition.
We did everything by hand, it was a literal “cut and paste”. Our tools were the surgical scalpel and a spray really toxic glue.
I learned a lot from this job and the people I worked with.
I knew the transition between two ways of making graphic design.
The assignments were very different: ranging from fashion reports to editorials, catalogs, advertising …
I’ve saved just some page and a lot of good memory in my mind…
Quando lavoravo per Vogue Italia, non c’erano nè computer, nè software per il layout e la composizione grafica.
Facevamo tutto a mano, e tutto era letteralmente “taglia e incolla”. I nostri attrezzi erano un bisturi chirurgico e una colla spray davvero tossica.
Ho imparato molto da questo lavoro e dalla gente con cui lavoravo.
Ho vissuto il passaggio tra due modi di fare graphic design.
I miei compiti erano davvero vari: reportage di moda, editoriali, cataloghi, pubblicità, inserti…
Ho conservato solo qualche pagina e molti buoni ricordi…
